Manager, Web Development
The Manager, Web Development, develops online tools and products that support the mission of NBAA. This position provides clear, timely and consistent information and programming support to Association staff, NBAA Members, government officials and other appropriate audiences.

Requirements/Duties include the following:

  • Develops applications for NBAA web sites including the development of functional specifications, interface design, coding, and testing.
  • Provides ongoing support for NBAA web site applications including ongoing programming support for enhancing web site applications and technical support to members with web site application issues.
  • Provides technical support to NBAA Members with web site application issues and Air Mail, NBAA’s listserv.
  • Requires excellent programming skills in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and ColdFusion.
  • Requires expert knowledge of hand-coded HTML, XML and standards-compliant CSS.

Director, Sales and Regional Forums & Static Displays
This position is responsible for a combination of sales and other revenue generation including developing new programs and creating a strategic sales plan across all divisions of NBAA. In addition, this position plans and oversees Static Display activities at all NBAA Conventions and Forums worldwide, providing a showcase of business aviation products and services where local, national and international issues can be discussed.

Requirements/Duties include the following:

  • Coordinates an overall sales plan for the Association, which packages sponsorships, advertising and other offerings across all divisions.
  • Researches and develops new programs and additional income streams for NBAA.
  • Creates a plan to reach non operators that convinces them to consider incorporating aviation into their businesses (“concept buyers”).
  • Develops a strategic plan for the NBAA/CAN Auction program.
  • Finds new prospects to exhibit at and attend all NBAA-managed events worldwide, especially in the light business airplane segment of the industry.
  • Creates a strategic sales and marketing plan for all NBAA Static Displays.
  • Selects Regional Forum sites in areas with the potential to attract nearly 1,000 Attendees.
  • Sells and manages exhibit space and sponsorships for all NBAA Regional Forums and Conventions Static Displays.
  • Negotiates display areas, build up and tear down schedules, aircraft arrivals, contracts and other Show elements with airport space owners and/or lessees.
  • Oversees floor plans and aircraft layouts.
  • Reviews all exhibitor and vendor contracts.
  • Manages marketing and customer service for the Static Displays.
  • Analyzes all registration data for future marketing purposes.

Administrative Assistant, Government Affairs/Membership Marketing
NBAA has an exciting opportunity for an administrative assistant to be responsible for providing administrative support to the Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and to the Vice President of Membership Marketing. The Administrative Assistant provides support to the Membership Marketing team to acquire new members and engage and retain current members. In addition, the Administrative Assistant provides support to the Government Affairs team in representing the interests of business aviation before the industry and government officials.

Requirements/Duties:

  • Inputs information into SVP’s and lobbyist’s calendars and contact lists.
  • Prepares Congressional Information Packets that are used for Capitol Hill visits
  • Prepares expense reports for SVP and VP
  • Prepares payment request forms to process invoices
  • Maintains records regarding vacation/leave approvals for staff reporting to the SVP and VP
  • Prepares State Member Listings for Lobbyists prior to Capitol Hill visits
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well in a team
  • Strong attention to detail
