Founded by Flight Safety Foundation (FSF) in 1955 and co-sponsored by NBAA since 1998, the Corporate Aviation Safety Seminar (CASS) is recognized as the premier forum for the discussion and exchange of safety information for business aviation operations. The 57th Annual Corporate Aviation Safety Seminar will be held from April 17 to 19, 2012, at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio in Texas.
About CASS
At this annual three-day forum, operators meet with industry leaders, government officials and university researchers for a comprehensive review of business aviation safety issues. Participants find the right blend of technical presentations, informal discussion, personal interaction and exhibits.
Each CASS presentation aims to deliver useful, specific information directly applicable to business aviation operations. In 2012, presenters will examine such topics as second-generation flight risk assessment tools, safety management system implementation, obtaining greater compliance with SOPs, utilizing FOQA information in training, implementing automated hazard reporting and tracking systems, adapting costing methods to safety, fitness for duty, travel risk management programs, and more.
The seminar opening session will feature NBAA and FSF leaders and keynoters to include:
- Ed Bolen, NBAA president and CEO
- William R. Voss, FSF president and CEO
- Lynn Brubaker, FSF Board of Governors chairman
- George Ferito, FSF Corporate Advisory Committee chairman
CASS also provides exhibiting and sponsorship opportunities to give companies visibility at this event. Direct questions to FSF's Ann Hill at hill@flightsafety.org or NBAA's Sandy Wirtz at swirtz@nbaa.org.
