Presidential TFRs
Des Moines/Newton, IA area - May 24, 2012
FDC NOTAM 2/3149 has been issued for the DES MOINES/NEWTON, IA area for May 24, 2012.
In summary, GA operations will be prohibited at the following airports during the specified times:
- DSM - from 1430 local (1930z) until 1530 local (2030z) and again from 1730 local (2230z) until 2100 local (0200z/25) on May 24, 2012.
- IKV - from 1430 local (1930z) until 1530 local (2030z) and again from 1730 local (2230z) until 2100 local (0200z/25) on May 24, 2012.
- TNU - from 1500 local (2000z) until 1800 local (2300z) on May 24, 2012.

A 11 nautical mile TFR centered on the DSM007008.0 prohibits GA operations at Des Moines International (DSM) and Ankeny Regional (IKV) from 1430 local (1930z) until 1530 local (2030z) and again from 1730 local (2230z) until 2100 local (0200z/25) on May 24, 2012.
A 32 nautical mile TFR centered on DSM007008.0 additional restrictions as specified in the NOTAM between the 11 nautical mile and 32 nautical mile areas from 1430 local (1930z) until 1530 local (2030z) and again from 1730 local (2230z) until 2100 local (0200z/25) on May 24, 2012.
A 11 nautical mile TFR centered on TNU145004.9 prohibits GA operations at Newton Municipal (TNU) from 1500 local (2000z) until 1800 local (2300z) on May 24, 2012.
A 30 nautical mile TFR centered on TNU145004.9 has additional restrictions as specified in the NOTAM between the 11 nautical mile and 30 nautical mile areas from 1500 local (2000z) until 1800 local (2300z) on May 24, 2012

REVISION: San Jose, CA area - May 23-24, 2012
FDC NOTAM 2/2942 replaces 2/2938 for the SAN JOSE, CA area for May 23-24, 2012. Revision due to change in times.
In summary, GA operations will be prohibited at the following airports during the specified times:

A 30 nautical mile TFR centered on OSI046007.5 additional restrictions as specified in the NOTAM between the 10 nautical mile and 30 nautical mile areas from 1745 local (0045z/24) until 2230 local (0530z/24) on May 23, 2012 and again from 0845 local (1545z) until 1115 local (1815z) on May 24, 2012.
A 10 nautical mile TFR centered on SJC114003.4 prohibits GA operations at San Jose (SJC) and Reid-Hillview (RHV) from 2200 local (0500z/24) on May 23, 2012 until 0830 local (1530z) on May 24, 2012.
