To begin the certification process, you first must qualify to take the CAM Exam by submitting a CAM Application. Qualification is based on:
- Job experience
- Education
- Licenses
- Attendance at business aviation industry events
- Enrollment in the NBAA Professional Development Program (PDP)
NBAA provides the support you need to become a Certified Aviation Manager. The CAM Study Guide gives you techniques for successful test taking, a list of resources used to develop exam questions and a practice test with questions just like those you’ll see on the actual CAM Exam. Your NBAA Membership also enables you to receive reduced rates on NBAA Conferences and PDP Courses.
Computer-Based Testing
Now it is easier than ever to take the CAM Exam. The CAM exam will be offered six times a year in a computer-based testing (CBT) format at 250 testing centers nationwide, providing CAM candidates with greater flexibility, convenience and accessibility. Additionally, the traditional paper exam still will be offered in conjunction with some NBAA events.
